The marketing campaign behind this site is aimed at attracting new residents and skilled workers to the region identified by the four partnering municipalities of Ararat Rural City, Horsham Rural City, Northern Grampians Shire, and Southern Grampians Shire Council.
The campaign is actively marketing into the capital cities of Melbourne and Adelaide, as well as major population centres in other areas of Victoria. Respondents are being encouraged to register their skill or type of employment they are seeking, to encourage them to move to our beautiful region.

Stage 1: Post a Job Vacancy on Grampians Jobs.
If you have a current job vacancy, you may advertise this vacancy on the Grampians Jobs website. This is a FREE service. You simply register your business on grampiansjobs.com.au
Once you have been approved as a genuine business located in the Grampians region (generally within a few hours) you will be able to post as many job vacancies that you wish. Register now.
Stage 2: Register your Skills needs.
As an ongoing feature, the four local governments are the first in Victoria to have partnered with ‘Shift Regional’, which is a unique digital platform and associated service designed to attract skilled workers to regional areas.
You simply need to specify the skills you require so that we can connect you with potential employees on our ever-growing database. Since the ‘Live the Grampians Way” marketing campaign commenced in December 2020, there have been over 40,000 people visit the Grampians Life website with over 800 of these registering their interest in moving to the Grampians region. The majority are Melbourne residents. They have also listed their particular skills.
Registering your skills needs (which may be ongoing) is different from posting a current job vacancy.
By registering your company and advising what your ongoing skill gaps are, you are helping your local council to identify industry needs. Shift Regional will also use this information to work to attract and match those needs with the ever-growing database of potential candidates.
